BeagleBone offers up ARM A8 processor, Linux and 10-second boot for 89 bones

BeagleBoard has kept our collective news-tails wagging with plenty of (often disparate) DIY hardware projects. Now, the BeagleBone ($89) has arrived, with Linux Angstrom preinstalled, and power provided through a USB port. Giving the hardware more of a chew reveals Open GL ES 2.0, a microSD connector and two 46-pin female expansion headers for easy augmentation. There's also a 100Mbit Gigabit Ethernet connection on this new development platform, which promises to play nice with older BeagleBoard, er, boards. 痒痒啊，A8可不是单片机的级别了^主频都是Ghz的。
不过话说回来，国内也有廉价的a8在生产，主要是瑞芯微的RK2918，合智的A10。目前这两块芯片的价格战打得热火朝天。一台800*480的mid，最低到400元了，这其实是一整个soc加上电池和屏幕的价格。我觉得要是这个也能做，400以下，屏幕另算，带gpu和也可以接受啊。
这里还是要说下，我觉得合智A10比较适合吧，笔者个人手里拿的就是它的产品。电源管理比较出色，高集成度，使得soc除了集成cpu和gpu的主芯片以及存储芯片，基本不需要再添加其他芯片。

另外吐槽下，这个厂家有点虚假宣传擦边球的感觉，比如A10这个名字……
